The Mountain Home Officers' Spouses' Club (MHOSC) is a non-profit organization comprised of Air Force spouses stationed in the high desert plains of Mountain Home, Idaho. We are both a 501c non-profit organization and a social club to create community and family for our constantly transitioning and moving military spouses. We are dedicated to supporting the families and organizations of Mountain Home Air force Base (MHAFB) as well as the surrounding community. Our organization operates two fold as we are both a social club with deep roots in creating community and friendship; as well as a thriving non-profit, donating thousands of dollars to create positive change in our community. As we gather together socially, we also discuss volunteer opportunities, fundraise, and vote as a whole club where to give away our hard earned funds. We are pleased to provide our members with wonderful opportunities to expand both their social interactions with other officer spouses, as well as the opportunity to be a part of our dedication in creating blessing and positive change to our beloved military community.
Membership: Membership is open to all officer spouses serving at Mountain Home AFB. With membership to the OSC, we provide monthly socials which include food, prizes, and childcare options. Some of our socials are designed for health and wellness, while others bring awareness to our City of Mountain Home and the amazing small businesses that we love to support. We have several annual events that the OSC hosts that raise thousands of dollars for college scholarships, breast cancer research, and aid to our military community. Membership dues have been reduced to only $35.00 for the year (Aug-May)! The dues are carefully calculated to ensure the club can continue to provide these opportunities to our valued spouses. In hopes to keep dues at the minimum rate, we have volunteers fund raising though out the year to off-set the rising costs of our events, in hopes to keep membership accessible to all our spouses in their military journey. Lastly, we are pleased to offer a new and improved membership registration process. Please click here to be directed to our membership page where you will fill out a short registration form and then use your PayPal account to submit dues.
Fundraising: Our various fundraising which enable us in making numerous donations to charitable causes, in both the military and civilian sector are:
In March 2022, the OSC Annual Charitable Auction had a record breaking year and raised over $51,100, which was all given away in 24 scholarship recipients!
In October 2022, the Bunco Benefit For Breast Cancer raised over $6,600 for St. Luke's of Mountain Home!
Throughout the year, our Thrift Shop typically earns more than $25,000 that is donated back to our community in the way of grants.
In 2021-2022 the OSC in total gave away $80,294!

Free childcare is offered at all monthly board meetings.
You are able to meet & make new friends.
It's a great way to help build or maintain your resume.
